Common Theme Campaign - Question the Message
May - June 2008

"Question the Message" was designed to raise awareness in adolescents ages 12-17 about how the alcohol industry uses popular media to target youth. dddThe goal of Question the Message is to educate youth about the ways alcohol use is portrayed in television, film and advertising, so they can be better informed, less vulnerable to influence, and able to make smarter decisions about alcohol use.  The Dept. of Health did  radio and other media advertizing for the campaign.

***The Burlington Partnership had Question the Message materials available at – The Burlington Boys and Girls Club, the Community Health Center, the King Street Youth Center, Fletcher Allen Health Care, Kids on the Block Vermont, the Champlain Valley Fair and the Burlington 4th of July fireworks display***

Check out the website at www.questionthemessage.com.  There are still lots of cool downloads like ringtones and wallpaper available as well as interesting facts.  You can listen to the radio ads or text your friends off the site as well.
